News

Several events occurred early on December 20th on the Northeast side of Sabino Springs that require the attention of all residents.

Around 2:00 AM a burglar attempted to break into a home on Sabino Estates Drive. Fortunately, the homeowner’s alarm went off and the burglar was scared away. The burglar then made his way down to Fairway Heights and attempted to enter a second home. The resident of this home noted their screen door was partially pried open. Again the burglar for some reason was deterred and never made entry. The burglar then continued South on Fairway Heights Drive and entered a third house through an unlocked door and stole jewelry, cash, and the resident’s car. It is important to note residents were at home in all three cases. We are glad to report no injuries occurred nor were there any personal threats made by the criminal.

The Sheriff’s Department detective investigating the cases strongly recommends residents double their efforts to lock all outside doors and windows, activate alarm systems, if available particularly at night, and not hesitate to call 911, if any suspicious activity is observed. Also, please remember not to keep valuables in your garage or display garage door openers in vehicles parked outside.

The Board of Directors and HBS Property Management Solutions are taking the following steps immediately:

Starting on December 22nd and going forward the Bowes Road exit gate will be closed from Midnight to 4 AM. If leaving the community during these hours, you will be required to use the main gate exit.
Effective tonight, the front gate will be manned 24 hours a day; 7 days a week.
The night rover will continue to patrol all roads in Sabino Springs in the early morning hours.

Furthermore, please remember if you see any suspicious activity, call 911 FIRST and then call the gatehouse.

A big THANK YOU to Mr. and Mrs. Whipple for donating a newer TV to the Fitness Center!!!

Dear Homeowners,
Some of you may or may not have noticed today that the front entrance and exit gates are not there. We had them taken off today and they will remain off for the next 7-10 days. We are having them re-finished and in order to do that they had to take them down. Also please note that in addition to the rover patrol tonight we will have the gatehouse manned all night to maintain security. Please bear with us during this time.
If you have any questions please feel free to call Tracy Kirk at 638-8620.

The gate attendants here really got into the spirit of Halloween by dressing up last week to celebrate. Pictured is Dan Wilde.

It is our pleasure to let you know that we were successful in re-negotiating the Saguaro Environmental Trash contract. Effective January 1, 2010 the new rate will be $81.00 down from $90.00. You will see this saving in your next assessment invoice. While there has been a reduction in cost please note that the level of service will remain the same. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at 638-8620.

Effective October 1st the new contractors hours will be 7AM – 5PM. Please let anyone doing work at your house know of the fall/winter hours.

In an effort to give the community instantaneous information about happenings in the community we are asking that each family provide us with an e-mail address. We want to assure you that your e-mail address will not be given out to anyone. HBS will be the only one using this e-mail address.

July 29, 2009

On behalf of HBS Management Solutions, my wife Barbara and I would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves to the Sabino Springs residents. We welcome the opportunity to serve this association in the capacity of your new management company.

The Homeowners Association is currently constructing an association office at the recreation center. Construction should be completed on or around August 17, 2009. This will afford the residents the opportunity to come in and speak to the on-site property manager. The new property manager, Tracy Kirk, will be working out of this office 20 hours a week. The office will be open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 8am to 12pm and Wednesdays, 1pm to 5pm.

The new contact information for the Homeowners Association when the office opens will be:

(520) 638-8620 (phone), (520) 638-8619 (fax), (520) 668-4537 (manager’s cell phone).

Prior to the office opening, the manager can be reached on her cell phone number.

In case of an emergency, please contact the gatehouse immediately at (520) 760-0075.

We are currently in the process of implementing an auto- pay system for those residents interested in paying their assessments through this venue. Additional information will be sent to you in the near future regarding this option.

We look forward to working with the Sabino Springs Homeowners Association and welcome any comments you may have that will further improve our services to your community.
